1,500 Years of the Blessed Birth

In Celebration of 1,500 Years of the Blessed Birth of Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) — A Historic Global Initiative to Build 1,500 Mosques Worldwide Under the Noble Name Faizan-e-Milad.

The crescent moon of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447 is soon to rise, carrying with it a message of immense joy. What makes this Islamic year, 1447 AH, so unique is that Muslims across the globe will be commemorating the 1,500th birth anniversary of their beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.

With the birth of the Final Messenger of Allah ﷺ, humanity gained honor, ignorance was replaced with enlightenment.

The Greatest of Prophets, the Benefactor of Humanity, and the Mercy for All Worlds ﷺ appeared with the most blessed of missions. With his arrival, the final golden brick was laid to complete the grand structure of Prophethood, and he attained the titles of Seal of the Prophets (Khatam an-Nabiyyin) and Last of the Messengers (Khatam al-Mursaleen).

As the new moon of Rabiʿ al-Awwal 1447 AH is sighted, Muslims across the globe prepare to mark a milestone of immense spiritual and historical significance: the 1500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Born on a Monday, the 12th of Rabiʿ al-Awwal, 53 years before the Hijra (5 May 570 CE), the Prophet’s noble life and universal message continue to inspire humanity, even a millennium and a half later.

Now, as we approach the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, 1447 AH, we mark the completion of 1,500 years since the blessed birth of the Prophet . In celebration of this historic and spiritually rich occasion, the founder of Dawat-e-Islami and the reviver of Sunnah in our age, Ameer-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat, Shaykh Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadiri, has announced a global initiative to build 1,500 mosques under the noble title “Faizan-e-Milad”.

The construction of Faizan-e-Milad Mosques is, in fact, a renewed pledge to spread the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to every corner of the world. The true purpose of commemorating the Prophet’s birth is to connect people to his Seerah, his noble character, his Sunnah, and to make the blessed life of the Prophet ﷺ a practical role model for humanity.

This is the mission of Dawat-e-Islami — to guide people towards righteousness through love for the Prophet ﷺ — and to fulfill this mission, the establishment of mosques and Islamic schools is essential, so that people may come closer to Islam and gain authentic knowledge of the religion.

Welcoming Rabi’ Al Awwal

Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm

InsyaAllah, following Mawlanaق’s calendar, Rabi’ al-Awwal 1447H begins after Maghrib today, 23rd August 2025.

The most important day of the month is the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, which falls on Wednesday, 3rd September 2025, after Maghrib.

It is the day Allah ﷻ gifted the world with the birth of His Most Beloved, the Mercy to all creation, our Holy Prophet ﷺ.

“Rabi’ al-Awwal – its very name is beautiful. It is the month of spring. Rabi’ means spring.

Even if it comes in the middle of winter or autumn, Rabi’ al-Awwal is the sign of beauty, the sign of purity; it is the beginning of everything.

Everything is beautiful in it. And for the honor of the blessed face of the Prophet ﷺ, all kinds of goodness will come.”

Between two Nothingness ….

…… On the Train

“Mawlana Grandsheikh Shah-i Naqshband Qs has said, “whoever wants to join our Tariqa Naqshbandiyya, the door of tariqa is unimaginably wide open.” So entering our tariqa is easy. That means anyone who wants and asks for it may enter the tariqa. But if he eventually wants to quit, then the exit is smaller than a needleneck. Because we do not give back, who we have taken. Whether he fulfills his duties (Awrad) or not. From the moment on he got Biyat, he is with us. You can also put an unconscious one on a train and it will ride you to where the train is going. Even a dead man, a faint, a sick, a healthy one can all ride on the train. Once they are on the train, the train takes them everywhere it goes. To complete the spirituality of his disciple is the task of the Sheikh. The Sheikh has this power. If not here then under the earth in the grave, he will make his disciple perfect man, insan-i kamil. He was lazy in this world, did not do dhikr, did not experience halwat, had no trouble, then he will make up for it after death. The Sheikh will educate him then there, cleanse, and bring him to the Last Judgment. Do not be afraid and say we want to become Naqshbandi and the Sheikh will have his job looking after each of his disciples, here and hereafter.”
