Support the Naqshbandi Zaouïa in Abidjan – Ivory Coast

Fundraiser for the Construction of a Septic Tank for the Zaouïa Naqshbandi of Sheikh Nazim in Abidjan

Assalamu Alaikum,

We are honored to present a vital project for the Naqshbandi Zaouïa in Abidjan, founded by Sheikh Aboubakar, a man with an inspiring and dedicated spiritual journey.

Who is Sheikh Aboubakar?

Sheikh Aboubakar spent over 10 years of his life with Mawlana Sheikh Nazim in Cyprus, where he was trained in the spiritual path of the Naqshbandi tariqa. Following this intensive training, he was sent by Sheikh Nazim to Ivory Coast with the mission to spread the light of Naqshbandiya in the region. When he first arrived in Abidjan, he was the sole disciple of Sheikh Nazim in the entire country. Through his faith, perseverance, and dedication, he successfully established a Zaouïa that has now become a sanctuary of peace and spirituality for over a hundred disciples and those in need.

Why do we need your support?

Today, the Zaouïa faces a significant challenge: the lack of a proper sanitation system. We aim to install a septic tank to improve living conditions and hospitality in our center. This installation is crucial for ensuring a healthy environment conducive to spiritual practice, disciple training, and providing support to the less fortunate.

How can you help?

We are launching this fundraiser with the hope of gathering the necessary funds to build this septic tank. Every contribution, no matter the size, will be a valuable support to our community. By supporting this project, you are not only participating in a humanitarian action but also contributing to the spiritual growth of the Naqshbandi tariqa in West Africa.

Here you can contribute to the project

May Allah reward you for your generosity!

We thank you in advance for your support and prayers. May Allah bless you and grant you His infinite grace.

*HAPPINESS OF MEETING A MU’MIN*

Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Insha’Allah by the order of Mawlānā Shaykh, after Fajr, he said that Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says: to say a few words as [the time of] milking one goat will be barakah. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying this.

AlhamduliLlah, when you understand or not understand, barakah will happen. May Allāh ﷻ give us good understanding. AlhamduliLlah we are happy that we meet again. AlhamduliLlah this is Allāh’s ﷻ will. The Mu’min must every time surrender to Allāh’s ﷻ will. Wherever He ﷻ take us, wherever He ﷻ bring us, we must accept and we must be thankful, thanking Him ﷻ for everything in His ﷻ will for us.

So the Mu’min must be happy because Allāh ﷻ made him Mu’min. This is the biggest favor. Other things can be. Everything, anything can be. So when you

have good things like this meeting, to be in the straight way all your life: this is the

biggest ni’mah. So we must be thankful, the most thankful for Allāh ﷻ for this ni’mah.

AlhamduliLlah we saw you again, and it was happiness for us. This happiness is from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Because one Mu’min going to meet a Mu’min, Allāh ﷻ is happy, He ﷻ rewards him for each step, He ﷻ forgives him for each step and makes his degree higher one more for each step. This is from Allāh ﷻ

For this, you feel happiness when you meet with a friend or Mu’min for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. Intention, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, all this intention to come at night time and wait for us, Allāh ﷻ rewards for this, for every minute. Our life is precious. And it is precious with being in the way of Allāh ﷻ and your intention. If your intention is good, every minute, every second Allāh ﷻ rewards you for this.

May Allāh ﷻ bless you. May Allāh ﷻ make us to be happy with Him ﷻ insha’Allah. To make us happy, and to be happy with us insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

PLEASURE HERE AND HEREAFTER

Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani 31 October 2024/ 28 Rabih Al-Akhir 1446 Isha Prayer – Sri Lanka

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says,

 “كلُّ آتٍ قريب”

“Kullu ‘atin qareeb”,

“Everything coming is near.”

Meaning everything coming is near. You say, “After twenty years or after fifty years, I will write this, I will do this, I will do that.” This is not so far. Because it is coming, and quickly coming and passing. Life is very fast.

For this, don’t have any laziness. Don’t be lazy. Quickly do what you must do. Don’t say, “It is so long, it is too long. He can wait. We can do this later.” This makes you lose a very precious thing which is life, time. Allāh جل جلاله gave you this life for winning the next life. Don’t say, “I will be doing this later.”

Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says,

 ”ھلك المسوفون“

 “Halaka l-musawwifoon.”

Musawwifoon means those who say “ سوف”

“ Sawfa”, “I will. I will do.” They are losers, he صلى الله عليه وسلم say , Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. They destroy themselves. Because every time you say “Sawfa”, “I will do, I will do this”, it shows that you haven’t done this.

For this, the mu’min must not be lazy. Do not leave any second, any moment without winning anything. How can you do this? With remembering Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, remembering Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. This makes your whole time precious with reward. Your time will be full of reward. This is what human beings must do.

Today, alhamduliLlah, we are going and coming here. We meet in many villages many believers coming especially for the sake of Allāh جل جلاله, for the sake of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. For this, they are alhamduliLlah winners. But also, we see human beings, many human beings just running after dunya, after their own pleasure. Not thinking at all about akhirah, not believing in akhirah, not believing at all. Just as if Allāh جل جلاله created them for eating and enjoying themselves. Not at all any respect for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.

They are unlucky people. Maybe they are rich. Maybe they have everything, but it’s not enough for human beings. Allāh جل جلاله created human beings to be the highest, the highest one between creatures. But when they are not following Allāh’s order, they lose this and they become the lowest one. Don’t be sorry because you cannot do like them: some of them you can do, some of them not. It is not important at all because you can’t remember. After two days, this pleasure finishes. You want another. But the pleasure of akhirah is forever. Every moment becoming more better, (more) happier, more beneficial for akhirah. Allāh جل جلاله promised believers this.

And alhamduliLlah for the believer it is easy to take all this pleasure, this happiness for akhirah. This is only by following the order of Allāh جل جلاله, to be good with themselves, with their family, with their neighbor. All of this makes you get this reward and win this pleasure, if it is not the pleasure of dunyā. In dunyā also – the believer, mu’min can enjoy himself with dunyā things. As much as he is praying, and doing what Allāh جل جلاله orders him, there isn’t any prohibition. The mu’min can swim, eat, walk, go to a good place. All of this, when there is belief, īmān in his heart and does not forget Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, no problem with doing what’s halal; not eating dirty things, not drinking dirty things. This is the real pleasure and Allāh  جل جلاله rewards you in akhirah.

But for who are not believers, there’s no pleasure at all. They are only looking after ḥarām: eating ḥarām, drinking ḥarām, going ḥarām, coming ḥarām; everything. And there is no ḥarām after Kufr, Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says. When they are not believers, there isn’t any more ḥarām for them. Because the biggest ḥarām, sin is to be non-believer. When you are non-believer, this is the worst thing for human beings.

And the best thing for human beings is to be a believer, and to practice also. To be Mu’min or to be Muslim is ok also, but when you want more, you must follow a little bit more and not forget Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is the most important. And to have your heart filled with the love of Allāh جل جلاله, mentioning Allāh  جل جلاله mentioning Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam ,fill our heart from this light and nur insha’Allah. May Allāh جل جلاله bless you. AlhamduliLlah there are many believers here but insha’Allah Allāh  جل جلاله keep you safe from shayṭān and waswas. This is very bad for believers. They destroy their rewards. They can be Muslim, but when they are not asking from Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam shafa’ah, not asking help from Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, it will be very difficult for him in the next life. May Allāh  جل جلاله give them hidayah.

May Allāh جل جلاله keep us in their way insha’Allah, way of Awliyā’u Llāh insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

THE HOUR WHEN PRAYERS ARE ACCEPTED

Shaykh Mehmet Adil Ar-Rabbani Al-Haqqani Sohbet 1.11.2024, Sri Lanka

Today is Friday, Juma. Today is a blessed day for the Ummah, it is special for the Prophet, peace be upon him, and his Ummah. There are many blessings that Allah granted on this day to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and his Ummah until the Day of Judgment. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said there is a special hour on this day when prayers are accepted. When you find this hour, Allah accepts your prayers. For this reason, many people make prayers today, on Juma. The Prophet, peace be upon him, said they should remember to ask Allah throughout the entire 24 hours. On Juma… Allah’s gaze is in this hour. When people remember this throughout the day, they remember Allah, the Exalted. Therefore, it is good for all of us to pray and make dua throughout this entire day.

May Allah accept our prayers, give us strong faith, and grant us health so that we can perform our prayers and worship. May He give us health and wealth to give charity and help more people.Wa min Allāhi t-tawfīq, al-Fātiḥa.

DU’Ā’ ON FRIDAY* Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani 01 November 2024/ 29 Rabih Al-Akhir 1446 Zawiyah in Sri Lanka As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah. Today is Friday, Jum’ah. This day is a blessed day for the ummah. Jum’ah is special for Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. So there are many things that Allāh ﷻ granted Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam in this day and his ﷺ ummah until qiyāmah. Especially, there is one hour, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, in this day that du’ā’, prayer is accepted. If you find this hour, Allāh ﷻ accepts your du’ā’. Du’ā’ is accepted. For this many people are asking for du’ā’. Today, Jum’ah, in shā’a Llāh, they must remember to ask for Allāh ﷻ, every time for 24 hours, said Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. On Jum’ah, Allāh ﷻ has hidden this hour for people to remember all day. When they remember their thing, they remember Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. For this, it is good for all of us to make prayer, to make du’ā’ all the time in this day insha’Allah. May Allāh ﷻ accept your du’ā’ and accept our du’ā’, give us strong īmān and health, to be healthy, to be able to do our praying, our worshipping, give us health and wealth also to make sadaqah and help all people insha’Allah. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

SRI LANKA THE BLESSED ISLAND
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn.
Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā,
Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim
al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Insha’Allah this is the last night [in Sri Lanka]. May Allāh جل جلاله bless you. All of
you, mā shā’a Llāh, are very interested and very happy with Allāh جل جلاله. And He جل جلاله gave you this love for good people, for religious people who are light for us. For this, we
are, in shā’a Llāh, safe.
From your barakah also, and barakah of awliyā’ we are in this island. From the beginning, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla sent the first man, our father, Ādam ‘alayhi ssalam. He is the first man and the first Prophet. But of course, our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Sayyidinā Muḥammad ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam says, “I was a Prophet when Ādam was between earth and water.” Meaning he still hasn’t even taken the shape of a human being. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was his prophet. But in this life, Allāh جل جلاله made it through Ādam ‘alayhi s-salam. Ādam ‘alayhi s-salam was here in this land. The first land in which he stayed 300 years crying, asking for forgiveness. For this, as you know, many jewels come from his tears. And of course, after asking forgiveness for 300 years, Allāh جل جلاله forgave him and gave this island blessings and barakah. It is mentioned. Everybody
knows this. And the most important thing is that Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam mentioned this island, good island, blessed island: Ceylan, Sri Lanka.
The whole time, many awliyā’u Llāh have been here. Very few of them are known. There are thousands of them who lived here and are buried in this island also. This also gives more barakah because of this land. For this, Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim, our father, may Allāh جل جلاله bless him, may Allāh جل جلاله make his maqam higher and higher, and make him look after us. By his karāmah, we are continuing his way. Of course, he didn’t come here without reason. He came here because it is also a blessed place and he must continue this way, the good way for humanity; not only for this island, for the whole world also. Because sometimes he must be somewhere to get more blessings, more light and more nur.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh he was here. In shā’a Llāh, this blessing comes for us and for you. You take spiritual power from all these saints, awliyā’u Llāh. They are, as we said, hidden. We know only very few of them: Shaykh Usman Ceylan and thers. It is very important to ask Allāh ʿAzza wa Jalla to accept our du’ā’ for the sake of these people. Every time you ask – if you can visit them, it will be (more) better. Because they will be happy you visited them. Even if from afar, no problem.
You can say. Sometimes from here, you ask blessings from Mawlana Shaykh, from
Shaykh Baha’uddin Naqshbandi, Abdul-Qādir Jīlānī, Shaykh Ahmad Badawī, Shaykh ‘Abdu Llāh ad-Dāghestānī. All of them, because they are far from us – but for them, not far at all. They are coming, hearing and blessing you. Many of these awliyā’u Llāh are very strong. When you ask from them, through them you will get what you want.
The most important thing is to have protection from shayṭān and his followers, and whisperings, waswās, waswāsu sh-shayṭān. Because now there are two kinds, the normal shayṭān and the other shayṭān. They are claiming they are doing good, but they put in your heart doubt. They put something: “What you do is wrong. It is not acceptable, not right.”
Don’t listen to these people. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, َ ِّس ُروا”
َ ِّس ُروا ولا تُع ی“,” Yassirū wa-lā Tu‘assiru”, “Make things easy and do not make them difficult”. [Hadith]. Make it easy, not difficult. Don’t look for small things. You are praying, fasting; don’t say this is good, this is not good. Only make wudu’ (ablution), pray; especially on time. The best time to pray is the beginning of the prayer’s time; or a little bit more, but don’t leave it for later when the time of prayer goes and so you pray Qaḍā’ at night time. This is a very, very big loss. You lose many things. You lose very much. You cannot reach the same reward even if you are doing more and more. This finishes; you cannot take it anymore. For this, awliyā’u Llāh – Who are Awliyā’u Llāh? They are the beloved ones for Allāh جل جلاله. If you do this, you are also from the beloved ones for Allāh جل جلاله and you are also awliyā’u Llāh. Awliyā’u Llāh are not those who make karāmah all the time. There are many of them who don’t even know that they themselves are beloved ones, awliyā’u Llāh, but they are awliyā’u Llāh. Why? Because they are sincere and are doing what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying, and not asking things they cannot do.
Making du’a’ for themselves and for others, helping others. This is also considered Awliyā’u Llāh, wāliyu Llāh, beloved one. Wāliyu Llāh means a beloved one. Allāh جل جلاله ُ ِح ُّب ال ’ .people these loves ُ ی ِی َن ُ ْحس ْم َو َّ. نِ‘ ,’ Wa Llāhu yuḥibbu l-muḥsinīn’, ‘And Allah
loves the doers of good.’ (Qur’ān 03:134). ‘ ف ُ ِح ُّب ال َّ . ِإن َ Allaha inna-Fa ’ ‘َ ِین َّق ُت ْم ََّ ی
Yuh’ibbu l-Muttaqee َ ی .َّ و“. Allāh جل جلاله loves the believers. Allāh جل جلاله loves those who make good deeds, Allāh جل جلاله loves those who are aware from Allāh Azza wa Jalla.
This must be easy for people to do. Some people come asking, “How can we be awliyā’u Llāh? What must we do?” Some try to worship without sleeping, doing this, doing that, but they cannot continue. Maybe they can do so for one month, two months. After that, they are finished. They leave them. They leave everything. This is not acceptable. What’s acceptable is to do the same thing, only what Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla orders, and continue. Don’t tire yourself and after that you cannot do. You must slowly, slowly continue this for your whole life. Some people are also asking, “How am I?” If you are continuing, you are good. If you left. You are lazy to pray, lazy to pray on time, then you are not good. You must know this. Everybody must know this. No need to ask, “How am I? How my situation is, up, down?” If you are doing the same: praying five times, fasting Ramaḍān, giving zakāt, ṣadaqāh, this is it. Ṭarīqah or shari’ah are not putting on your back 50 kg of stone. No, it’s easy. When somebody is doing this and something happens that he cannot do them, he will be very unhappy, sad. Many of them sometimes cannot fast because they have some illness or something, they are very unhappy, most of them are crying, “We cannot fast.” Who is doing this is winner, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh جل جلاله bless you. May Allāh جل جلاله keep you safe, and make you hidāyah for others also, for these people who are not knowing anything about īmān, about Islam. They are creating for themselves a new way which is not the way of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. May Allāh جل جلاله give them hidāyah also, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh جل جلاله keep us safe. In shā’a Llāh, Allāh جل جلاله make us to meet again and again. In shā’a Llāh with Sayyidinā Al-Mahdī, we hope. This time is very difficult for the
whole world; not easy. So, in shā’a Llāh, maybe we come with Sayyidina Al-Mahdi
also, in shā’a Llāh.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

HUMBLENESS OF ṬARĪQAH MASHĀYIKH

Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani 24 October 2024/ 21 Rabih Al-Akhir 1446 Masjid Agung Medan – Sumatera Utara, Indonesia

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

“Ṭarīqatunā ṣ- ṣuḥbah wa l-khayru fi l-jam‘iyyah.” This is what Shaykh Baha’uddin Naqshbandi said in his life 12,000 times. Everybody knows, masha’Allah here in Indonesia, they have knowledge about ṭarīqah, about sharī’ah.

They are lovers of Islam, lovers of Prophet ﷺ, lovers of the followers, lovers of ṭuruq, all ṭuruq. Indonesian people know about ṭarīqah, about Islam, they are happy with all ṭuruq. There are 41 ṭarīqah. These ṭuruq are connecting people to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Because each Shaykh is coming from other, from other until, reaching to Sayyidina Ali, Sayyidina Salman, Sayyidina Abu Bakr radiyaLlahu ‘anhum, to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam.

This is special for ṭarīqah people because without ṭarīqah, the īmān of people will be not complete. Many people are claiming a new thing for themselves; but without connection with Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, there’s no benefit for people.

Sayyidina Imam ‘Azam Abu Ḥanīfah An-Nu’mān said

 “لَوْلَا سَنَتَان لَهَلَك نُعْمَان”, “Lawlā sanatān lā ḥalaka l-Nu’mān.”

“If it wasn’t for these two years, Nu’mān (Himself/Abū Ḥanīfah Al-Nu’mān) would’ve been destroyed.” That was after he found his Shaykh. He was the biggest Imam in the Islamic world, but not complete without finding a Shaykh to connect to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam; he cannot be complete.

Mashāyikh, all of them, are to serve people.

“ ْسَیِِّدُ الْقَوْ م ِ خَادِمُهُم”, “Sayyidu l-qawmi khadimuhum”,

“The master of a people is the one who serves them.” To make khidmat for the Ummah of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Our ṭarīqah is beginning from Sayyidina Abū Bakr aṣ-Ṣiddīq who is the highest one in the ummah, among the ummah. He was the friend of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam before Islam also. He gave all his fortune to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, for khidmah of Islam. He was his ﷺ friend in Hijrah and in Ghar Thawr. He was his whole life in all Ghazwat with him ﷺ

Once Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was sitting and Sayyidina Jibril ‘alayhi s-salam came to him ﷺ. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam was asking where Sayyidina Abū Bakr was. He ﷺ said, “Call him.” He was in his house. His house wasn’t so far. So they went and called Sayyidina Abū Bakr. When he came, he ﷺ said, “What were you doing?” to Sayyidina Abū Bakr. Abū Bakr said, “I was thinking for one hour, tafakkur, about Jahannam. I know that Allāh ﷻ says Jannah must be full with people, and Jahannam also with people. I was wishing to make dua for Allāh ﷻ to make me bigger, huge, so huge to fill all Jahannam with my body. Because His ﷻ word must be: Jahannam must be full with people, so I will fill it, and no need for anybody to enter Jahannam.” Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, “He is the most merciful for my ummah.” He ﷺ said, “One hour of the Tafakkur of Sayyidina Abu Bakr radiya Llahu ‘anhu, Sayyidina Abū Bakr aṣ-Ṣiddīq, is better than 70 years of ‘ibadah (worship).”

All mashāyikh of ṭuruq are like them. They are humble. They only want -they are doing this for the sake of Allāh ﷻ and pleasure of our Prophet Sayyidina Muhammad ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. They are very humble. AlhamduliLlah, your people masha’Allah, the Indonesian people, I love them. They are very humble. They are smiley people, Allāh ﷻ loves these people.

One of the mashāyikh was in ‘Arafat during ḥajj time and he saw a crowd of ḥajjīs. There were many people. He said, “I wish Allāh ﷻ to forgive them, but I don’t know. Because I am here, maybe many of them will not be forgiven.” From his humbleness, he blamed himself that it won’t be accepted for the ḥajjīs. He said, “This is a very nice ḥajjī. But because I am here, maybe Allāh ﷻ will not forgive some of them.” But Allāh ﷻ forgave them all for his sake.

Insha’Allah, I am happy in this country. They respect the ṭuruq and the ṣaḥābah. For this, may Allāh ﷻ keep them in this way in which Allāh ﷻ is happy with them, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is happy with them and Awliyā’uLlah are happy with them.

We are happy. It’s the first time I come here but alhamduliLlah our brothers from Yemen are coming here alhamduliLlah time by time, they make refreshment for people. AlhamduliLlah you are here, insha’Allah Allāh ﷻ keeps you away from Fitnah. Because we are living in a time, a difficult time. Everywhere there is Fitnah. So ṭarīqah means don’t interfere with something Allāh ﷻ doesn’t order you to interfere with. Because in our place, we are in the Middle East, it has never finished; fitnah never finishes. But we are praying for you to be safe insha’Allah.

Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani 25 October 2024/ 22 Rabih Al-Akhir 1446 Masjid Raya Baiturrahman – Banda Aceh, Indonesia

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِىَ ٱلشَّكُورُ

“Wa qaleelun min ‘ibadiya sh-shakur”

“And few of My servants are grateful.”(Qur’an 34:13), Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying. Very few of the servants of Allāh ﷻ are thanking Allāh ﷻ. This is what Allāh ﷻ is saying in Qur’an Azimu sh-Shan. And Allāh ﷻ says,

وَسَنَجْزِى ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

“Wa Sanajzī Ash-Shākirīn”,

“And we will reward the grateful.” (Qur’ān 03:145). Allāh ﷻ loves those who are thanking Him ﷻ And there is maybe a hadith or a saying that says

من لم يشكر الناس لم يشكر الله

“Man lam yashkuru n-nas lam yashkuru Allah”

“Who doesn’t thank people doesn’t thank Allāh.”

The special people are not too many. They are less. They are the few minority in this world among human beings, all people. The minority who are beloved ones for Allāh ﷻ are the minority, not the majority. And we are thanking you and thanking Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla for what He ﷻ gave us: to meet here with people who are sincere and thankful for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Because people everywhere are complaining, they are not happy, not thankful for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. They have everything but are still not thankful for Allāh’Azza wa-Jalla. And here, alhamduliLlah, people are thankful for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and Allāh ﷻ blesses them.

We were with Mawlānā Shaykh Nāẓim qaddasa Allāhu sirruhu in 2001 going by train through a paddy field. And Mawlana was looking at these people who were planting this. He said to me, “Look at these people. They are poor people but even though they have one handful full of rice, they are thanking Allāh ﷻ that they have this. They are happy.” Mawlānā Shaykh was happy with these people. He prayed for them. Because they have something to eat, they are thanking Allāh ﷻ for what He ﷻ gives and they are getting their food with their work. And they are believers; this is the most precious thing Allāh ﷻ gave to human beings, Muslims: to be believers in Allāh ﷻ and Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

Because when Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla creates one human being, Allāh ﷻ says how many days, how many years he will live, how many things he will eat and how many things he will drink. All these are counted. When finished, he will be no more here. Even if he is a millionaire, he cannot take anything.

So the biggest ni’mah, the biggest thing Allāh ﷻ gave to the believer, to be Muslim, to be mu’min. This is what ṭarīqah is teaching people: to be happy with what Allāh ﷻ gave them. Allāh ﷻ gave this for us, we are happy, thankful for Allāh ﷻ created us as a human and made us believers. By the barakah of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, the small thing is enough for anyone. When no barakah, even very rich people have no benefit for them.

For this, we are thanking Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla to have made all this country here – they must be very thankful because since centuries, it has been a place of nūr, light for Islam. People who live here get barakah from their ancestors. They are teaching the beauty of Islam for all this country. They spread the light of Islam, the mercy of Islam all around this country. From here to thousands of kilometers around this area, they are all coming through this point.

And for this, I’m seeing alhamduliLlah here, they are sincere Muslims, no any bad intentioned people who claim they are in Islam yet are destroying Islam.AlhamduliLlah they are all good. Alhamdulillah, we have in this sincerity many Awliyā’uLlah. Not only in the grave, you have here also living Awliyā’uLlah. AlhamduliLlah this is good tidings for you.

First when Mawlānā Shaykh went to meet his Shaykh in Istanbul, he was young, maybe 20 years old, and it was forbidden for any Muslim to appear. No Shaykh, no ṭarīqah; all was forbidden in Turkey. He went to see one Shaykh secretly. Because after the Ottomans, these kafirs destroyed the khilafah and forbid everything from Islam. And there was no airplane, no boat in that time. Before 500 years, they came and helped here alhamduliLlah. But when these kafirs took the khilafah, they cut the head of Islam and all the Muslim countries became orphans.

So in this time, Mawlānā secretly went to meet this Shaykh and he entered his dergah. So, the first thing, by the karāmāh of Shaykh, of course – his name was Shaykh Suleyman Erzurumi. He was saying when Mawlānā entered – He was young, 20 years old – He said, you must think each one as Khidr ‘alayhi s-salam. Khidr ‘alayhi s-salam changes (disguises). You don’t know which one is Khidr; sometimes comes in this shape, sometimes other shape, different, each time

different. Because when Khidr ‘alayhi s-salam makes du’a, du’a is accepted.

So people are every time looking which one is Khidr. So this Shaykh said, when you see somebody you must think: maybe this is Khidr ‘alayhi s-salam. So he was by karāmāh there, but nobody of course understood; this is a young man coming here.

Nobody can imagine that he will be the greatest Shaykh in the next years, after being 20 years old. So they cannot imagine. But this Shaykh, when he first saw him,he said this.

And the second thing he said, “You must think every night as Laylatul Qadr.” Because Laylatul Qadr can be any day in the year, not only Ramadan. It can be in any night of the year, not only Ramadan. But most of the times, it is in Ramadan. But sometimes, outside Ramadan also. You must give respect and value for every minute in your life, especially the nights, you must [value it]. If you can make even two rak’at, it is more valuable than a hundred rak’at in the day time.

This is for people to have good intention, good thinking towards others. Insha’Allah Allāh ﷻ makes us to have good thinking not bad thinking about people, and keep us away from bad things and bad people; to keep them away. May Allāh ﷻ send good people to be together insha’Allah all the time. Thank you.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE OF ALLAH’S FRIENDS IN OUR TIME

Mawlana Shaykh Muhammed Adil ar-Rabbani Sohbet 26.10.2024

Alhamdulillah for everything. Allah has blessed us with this meeting, this blessed gathering. This is truly a barakah. Alhamdulillah, you are accustomed to these gatherings, these meetings. You may not realize how different it is in other places. To be content with gathering for Allah is a great blessing from Him. This is a gift from Allah to you. Indeed, Allah is capable of all things.

Alhamdulillah, the whole country is progressing more and more in this way – the way of love for Allah, love for the Prophet, and love for the Awliya Allah. The Awliya Allah are constantly praying for the ummah to remain on the path of Allah Allmighty and the way of Prophet. Alhamdulillah, this love and belief are essential for every believing man and woman. Allah has appointed certain Awliya Allah to be a source of blessing for the earth and humanity. There was a great Wali of Allah who was once sitting in his gathering. His name was Sheikh Abdus Salam, also known as Shah A’la. He was from India, as you know. During his majlis, one of his companions, who was sitting nearby, was speaking with another person. This person claimed, “There are no Awliya Allah in our time.” Sheikh Abdus Salam overheard this and asked, “What did you say?” The man replied, “Nothing. Don’t be afraid,” the Sheikh said, “Repeat what you said.” The man admitted, “I said there are no Awliya Allah in this time.” Sheikh Abdus Salam responded, “I cannot agree with this statement, for nothing can exist without the Awliya Allah. They are the intermediaries appointed by Allah Azza wa Jalla. They have been assigned specific duties.” “Rain, water, all blessings flow through them.” “Without them, you cannot receive these blessings.” “They exist in every era,” he explained. The man tried to clarify, “I meant perhaps there are no Awliya Allah like those of the past.” He was saying this to a Sheikh who was himself among the greatest Awliya, nearly at the rank of Qutub. Upon hearing this, the Sheikh merely looked at him, and the murid fell to the ground, crawling on the earth. The people then took him to his house and left him there to rest. He returned at Fajr time, repenting and seeking forgiveness from the Sheikh. The Sheikh said, “Don’t worry, but never speak or even think negatively about the Awliya Allah.” For the Awliya Allah are beloved to Allah.

There is a Hadith Qudsi that states: مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَنْتُهُ بِالْحَرْبِ

The mission of the Awliya Allah is a great responsibility. They watch over the Ummah, especially in these times. Alhamdulillah, here people follow the teachings of Prophet and Islam, but in other places, conditions are incredibly difficult. Therefore, for those who follow a tariqa, protecting your belief is paramount. Shaytan works through people, telling them, “Tariqa, Shariah, and Madhhab are unnecessary. Don’t follow these.” But tariqa keeps you safe from Shaytan and strengthens your faith. This is why we advise everyone to follow a tariqa – any of the 41 Turuq that connect back to Prophet. May Allah keep all of you on His path and make you among the Awliya Allah, in sha’Allah. Remember, being a Wali Allah isn’t just about performing miracles, but about being beloved to Allah. Allah loves the believers, muminin, those who do good, muhsinin, and those who are God-conscious, muttaqin.

A Wali Allah is simply one whom Allah loves. Following a tariqa isn’t difficult – we don’t ask people to do what they cannot manage. Continue with your normal Muslim duties: pray, fast, and follow the path as much as you can. Do what is within your capacity.

I think people are getting tired now. Thank you all. I am very happy to be in this gathering among good people. This is our third visit here, and I am very pleased, in sha’Allah. May Allah bless you and protect you from all harm, in sha’Allah. May Allah keep you on the straight path and strengthen your faith, along with your families and your country, in sha’Allah. In sha’Allah, may Allah grant us many more meetings together, and may we remain together forever.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

ṢALAWĀT INCREASES YOUR NŪR
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.
A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.
Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn.
Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā,
Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim
al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is very interested in taking us to
Paradise. The first thing he ﷺ said after his ﷺ birth is, “Ummati, Ummati. O My
nation. May Allāh ﷻ keep them safe.” He ﷺ was worried about his ﷺ nation, his ﷺ
Ummah.
For this, he ﷺ said on making ṣalawāt on Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa
sallam: he ﷺ gives you salam, ṣalawāt back again from him ﷺ. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu
‘alayhi wa-sallam said, “Who makes one ṣalawāt for me ﷺ, Allāh ﷻ makes ten
ṣalawāt for him.”
So ṣalawāt is a very good thing for Mu’mins. As much he can do ṣalawāt on
Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, he gets more reward, and his light, his nūr
becomes more and more.
Light, nūr is a very important thing because Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created all
the existence with his ﷺ nūr. So if you don’t have nūr, you become less in value in
the Divine Presence of Allāh ﷻ. And our aim is to have some value in the Divine
Presence of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This is very important. May Allāh ﷻ keep us in
this way insha’Allah.
Ṣalawāt is a very important for everything, for every good thing for the
believer, for the Mu’min. Allahumma Salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammad ṣallá Llāhu
‘alayhi wa-sallam.
Wa l-hamdu li-Llah Rabbi l-Alameen Al-Fatiha.

BURN YOUR EGO

Mawlana Sheikh Muhammad Adil ar-Rabbani 16 October 2024/ 13 Rabih Al-Akhir 1446 Fajr Prayer – Kuala Lampur Dergah, Malaysia

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh.

A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Mawlana Jalāluddīn Rūmī says: “Hamdım, piştim, yandım,”

“I was raw, I became cooked, I was burnt.” Meaning, “I was raw. After that, I was cooked. After that, I wasn’t raw anymore, I was already cooked.” Then, “Yandım”, meaning I was burnt. This is the life of believers. Because first, they are very raw; they don’t know anything. Slowly, slowly, they become well. This rawness finishes and they can be something.

Everybody must be like this; not be raw. Every time – when young, they’re slowly, slowly learning and after that becoming a learnt one. But for ṭarīqah people,it’s more than this. You burn the bad characters, burn the ego, to be pure for Allāh’Azza wa-Jalla. This is what Mawlana Jalāluddīn Rūmī said about himself. He said, “I was raw, I became cooked, after that I burned.” He finished his personality. Everything is for Allāh ﷻ, Li-Llah, “خالص لله تعالى”,

“Pure for Allāh ﷻ.” Not anything from himself.

This is what ṭarīqah is teaching people. To not say, “I am like this, I am like that.” What’s important is to leave everything in this life before going to akhirah to be ready for akhirah, ready for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Burn every bad thing from ourselves, from our ego and what it is happy with. All of this is not important. What’s important, our aim is to go without anything from ego in us. May Allāh ﷻ help us. May Allāh  ﷻ make us to slowly, slowly, somebody cooked very slowly. Slow is okay, it is still in this way; it is not bad. But not to be raw, going to akhirah raw; no. But to be a little bit cooked at least. May Allāh ﷻ help us. May Allāh ﷻ make us – our intention is to be like what Mawlana Shaykh is saying insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
هب متعياب يذلا مكعيبب اورشبتساف
(Qur’ān 09:111). ‘Fāstabshirū Bibayikumu Al-Ladhī Bāyatum Bihi’, ‘So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted.’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives good tidings on making Bay’ah. Bay’ah is very important for believers to be connecting with Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Everybody can be Muslim, but to be connected is more important. For this, Ṭarīqah is a chain to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, to Allāh
‘Azza wa-Jalla. We promise to be in His ﷻ way, Allāh’s ﷻ way, Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam’s way; what He ﷻ ordered. For this, Allāh ﷻ is giving us good tidings, “Bish’arah” means good tidings for believers because millions of people, billions of people are not caring, not interested in how we can reach the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ, how we can be in His ﷻ way. Nobody. Very few people are interested. And this is a favor from Allāh ﷻ. So who has this has good tidings alhamduliLlah.
People are not interested at all in this thing. They are interested in other things, in new things, in different things. They are interested in many strange things. They are not important things. There isn’t any benefit from the things they are interested in. They must be more interested about connecting with Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. When you connect with him ﷺ, you get a big favor from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, to have made this happen for you, nasīb. What does nasīb mean? What Allāh ﷻ wants for some people, it must become today. Inshā’Allāh, alhamduliLlah, we are inshā’Allāh in His ﷻ way, following as
much as we can. We try to follow Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. May Allāh
ﷻ bless you. May Allāh ﷻ keep you safe in this way, you and your families,
neighbors, your generation, your country inshā’Allāh and all Muslims inshā’Allāh.

Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn.Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā,Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam says,

“أَدَّبَنِي رَبِّي فَأَحْسَنَ تَأدِيبِي”

“Allāh ﷻ gave me good behavior and He perfected it.” Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam , Sayyidinā Muḥammad ﷺ is the best one in existence. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, He ﷺ  Sayyidinā Muḥammad ﷺ is an example for us. He ﷺ is  saying, Allāh ﷻ taught me ﷺ good behavior, the best good behavior. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam was his ﷺ whole life respecting people, small or big or old, he ﷺ was polite with them all, giving them the best example.

Because in the time of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, there was not much good behavior, I think. So he ﷺ made all these people to be the best people: the Saḥābah and after the ṣaḥābah also. But in this time – because there was one miracle, mu’jizah of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam to make these people to be like this: to change them from very bad and very ignorant to very good people and very beneficial for the Ummah. Their respect and good behavior, you cannot imagine it! They said, when Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam was sitting with the ṣaḥābah, they were like they had a bird on their heads; not moving, not saying anything, not any small action. They were very silent, very respectful; just looking at Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam, what he ﷺ teaches them, what he ﷺ orders them. They were like this. And they were respecting each other.

People now, Muslims forgot the most important thing: respect, adab. So ṭarīqah is teaching adab. May Allāh ﷻ make us with adab with Prophet ṣallá Llāhuʿalayhi wa sallam. Everybody, try to be like him ﷺ. Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, ṭarīqah people are like this. But there is a kind of people who are claiming Islām, they are teaching Islām, but they don’t have any respect or they don’t have any adab.

May Allāh ﷻ teach them adab, in shā’a Llāh. And give us adab, in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ give Muslims good understanding to see what is good and what is bad, in shā’a Llāh

ATTRIBUTES WE CAN IMITATE

Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla loves generous ones. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam says, the generous one who is a sinner, Allāh ﷻ loves him more than the stingy ‘Abid/ worshipper. Allāh ﷻ is generous, He ﷻ loves generosity. Generosity is the attribute of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Who wants Allāh ﷻ to be happy with him, he must imitate the attribute of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Of course, there are attributes that are only for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, like Kibriya’, Proudness. This is only for Him ﷻ.
And there are attributes that are not for Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. This attribute is not even for human beings, it is from shaytan, it’s impossible to be for Allāh ﷻ. There are attributes which are acceptable like generosity, like mercy; many things. You must imitate what you’re allowed to imitate. And what is for Allāh ‘Azza wa Jalla is only for Him ﷻ. You must know this. Because many people are thinking it is good to imitate Allāh’s ﷻ attributes in everything. It cannot be. In some languages, they have two meanings. They say, “Creator.” Creator is only Allāh ﷻ. “Maybe one can make something”, they say. People say, Al-Khaliq Allāh ﷻ, meaning: The Only Creator.
There are many things like this, but the most acceptable thing to do is to be generous. Allāh ﷻ forgives your sins, forgives you and becomes happy with you. Insha’Allah may Allāh ﷻ make us as He ﷻ loves insha’Allah. Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

SPIRITUAL CONNECTION CONTINUES

A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm.

al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

We are thanking Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla that He ﷻ made this meeting, and to be together all this time. Insha’Allah today it is [the last day] – everything has an end. But this end is not for the believer; it continues spiritually. Maybe we are not here [physically], but with spiritual, ‘arwāḥ (souls) it continues. Because Allāh ‘Azza wa Jalla created human beings, but the soul/rūḥ, He ﷻ knows about it. Nobody knows about the rūḥ. This is one of His ﷻ secrets which we do not know. But spiritually, when you are connecting, alhamduliLlah, you are connecting to all – not only to us but to Sayyidina Muhammad ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and all awliyā’ are present with you.
So you must know this. You must follow the order of Allāh ﷻ. Hold onto the way of Allāh ﷻ. Don’t leave it. You will be happy also; safe and happy. Maybe sometimes there is some separation, because you cannot stay; you cannot stay the whole time with some people. This separation will not appear with the connection of the heart, with the connection of the spirit, spiritual. Connection is for you to Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, to Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla.
Insha’Allah this is a good meeting. May Allāh ﷻ bless you. Be careful from the Fitnah of this time. Don’t argue with people who don’t have mind, don’t have any respect for Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. When you see these people speaking, don’t stay with them. Wherever you are, everywhere you are, be away from these people because Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t love these people. Allāh ﷻ loves people who have respect, have adab and love of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Allāh ﷻ mentioned in the Qur’an the love of Prophet ﷺ. People who are not accepting this, don’t stay with them. Because if you stay there, there becomes more Fitnah, more doubt for you. Maybe you will also follow them; you don’t know. Because intention when you go out – the intention when going out and not sitting with these people for the love of Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Allāh ﷻ will make this love increase more and more and Allāh ﷻ will bless you. Don’t be sorry, be happy that Allāh ﷻ made you on this way of His ﷻ beloved one insha’Allah.
May Allāh ﷻ keep us safe from this Fitnah. This Fitnah of Akhir Zaman is normal; not abnormal. It is very normal. The lucky one is who doesn’t follow this Fitnah. May Allāh ﷻ give hidayah (guidance) for everybody. This is what we are asking. May Allāh ﷻ keep us safe from shaytan and his followers. May Allāh ﷻ make us to meet again insha’Allah. May Allāh ﷻ give us health and wealth, make us not be in need for anybody, and give us happiness for all of us in dunya and akhirah insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

The Task of Sufi Centres

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani QS

“You should not waste your time by fighting with other Naqshbandis. That is one of the tricks Satan uses to make you weak, I want you to direct your strength outwardly toward other people. You should not accuse each other of things and cause unrest. That is foolishness. People want to be led to the right path by you, to truth and reality – they are thirsty for that. You should not be sitting together telling each other what others should do – or not do. That is not what we want. I am happy when my followers gather crowds who feel attracted to them, also when they do it in their own home. You can tie on after the next – collect them. Look at Burhanadin – he is catching so many with his hook, that is what is important. It is not important if five people are sitting somewhere and making dhikr (remembrance) there, just to spend their time. Go and hunt! That is what is important, to be a hunter. I want everyone to be a hunter, not to fight between yourselves. No, go and hunt. Gather more and more people. Save the souls of people! Help and support each other for this purpose. Make tea parties or meals. Picnics, lectures, seminars from time to time. Direct your energies to the outside world, not against each other, wasting them. Don’t make a ‘religious’ centre, make a social centre for social functions of every kind. Make everything which is not haram and what people like to do. Keep horses, many people like to ride. Set up libraries so that people can come and look. Don’t charge any entrance fee, set up tea gardens where people can come and listen. Organise exhibitions for people to come and look. Give a free meal every week or every month to make people used to coming regularly. Organise car boot sales to attract people. Make exhibitions about different subjects to attract people, you have to use your mind a bit. You have enough of it to be able to attract people.

You could set up a kindergarten where working mothers could leave their children. Organise a meeting place for old people where thy can come together during the day time and relax. The state would even pay you for that. There are so many activities like that. Make a collection of beautiful birds. Make a collection of flowers, plants for sale or like a park or garden in which people can sit to look after them. There are so many possibilities, hundreds of things. Make evening classes for sewing. make oriental exhibitions, Indian, Turkish, Christian… These are the things you should be doing, not sit (in Berlin) and quarrel with each other. Organise a sale every week where people can buy things from warehouses. Advertise, put signs on the streets, so that people who are driving by will stop and buy something. It can be a very beautiful place. Make stamp collections, photo exhibitions, book collections. Bring all kinds of skins, wooden and handmade objects. Tell people that you have a temple, synagogue and a mosque. Who wants, can come. They will come. People need so little to be pleased nowadays. If it is free, so many will be interested. Keep sheep in their enclosures and bring donkeys on which the young ones can ride.

You must work out these things I am telling you in detail and you must look who is an expert for what. Don’t look if people are Muslims or not. Just see if they are interested, then they are welcome. It should be a place for the good of mankind without making a difference of religious beliefs or race, but it should be mainly for people from this country. Use the good old customs of the English; their costumes, their houses. With everything you do – try to make young people interested in their history, their old customs and good traditions so that these don’t get lost in bad times. Make a peaceful centre for young and old, for every kind of people. And whichever means you need, Allah will send to you. He will send you so many helpers. If you start looking more and more, doors will open….Here the complete sohbat
